Cooling for Socket A Thunderbirds

I was at a local shop recently. They had the FIC az-11 socket A board and durons for sale. They told me it was a special heatsink and fan and that my socket 7 fans would not work. I am just guessing here, but I think it may have something to do with the raised portion in the middle of the chip. Anyone else know for sure?

Just a word of caution !!, Socket 7/370 HSF's will fit Socket A but be sure that you buy a setup that can handle the heat of the T/BIRD. T/BIRDS produce close to twice the heat of a typical FC-PGA cpu. Also Golden Orbs have too much pressure on the core of a T/Bird and the retention mechanism is being re-designed for Socket A, this could be the case for other HSF's.
