Cooling for PD915

I'm updating the wife's old Emachines with a Pentium D915. The newer cases have side venting with a channel to the CPU fan, this old case does not. Is the special channel needed for these dual core chips?

Only 1 spot for an extra case fan, too, and only 80mm.

Going to have a AGP card in there, nothing fancy, so not a lot of heat except from the 915
