cooling for BFG 6800 gt

Okay, yesterday I asked what is the best type of brand for the 6800 gt. Overwhelming people said it was the BFG. So I will get the BFG, i was wondering then, should I go with the stock fan, or put another fan or some other method of cooling it. I want to be able to overclock it to ultra speeds if that is possible.

from what i've been told, BFG is reknowned for thier customer service and warranties. in fact i think this card has a lifetime warranty.

why is that important? well if you go taking their fan and heat sink off you are voiding that pretty warranty... just a thought.

with that said, those 6800 GTs run around 75C with a load, thats pretty damn hot. with a namebrand cooler like the arctic NV silencer 5 you can easily reduce that by 10C or more under load. that and it will be quieter.

Yes, it has a temp monitor. The stock BFG dual fan heatsink is a piece of crap; I get around 85C on load, and 60 at idle. Ive done research, and apparently the reference heatsink fan is quieter and cools better, but to save costs, bfg went with a 3rd party solution.
