I would say you have three choices: Golden Orb, Alpha PEP-66 or Alpha FC-PAL35. Both the alphas are pricey ($28.00+) They both move 27.2 CFM. The Golden Orb is an excellent cooler for the price ($14.00). If you have a retail CPU and you don't plan on overclocking too much the retail H/S is fine.

If you arent going to overclock, the GOrb is fine, otherwise, go with the Alpha PEP.

all depends on your chip - had a 500E that ran fine at 667/1.6v with retail cooling for months. now i run a secc2 650E w/ a GORB at 910/1.7v - so saying a gorb is no good for ocing is bullsh.t. also check gorb reviews - they are consistently 1c hotter than $35 alphas - i have nothing against alphas - they are the cadillac, but when you can get a gorb for $11 its academic.
