Cooling fan confusion

I'm considering buying a better cooler for my AthlonXP 2800+ Barton. Right now it has the stock AMD retail fan/heatsink that came with the cpu.

Newegg.com has the Arctic Cooling CPU Cooler For AMD Athlon Socket 462 up to 3400+, Model "Copper Silent 2M" -RETAIL

The reason I'm confused is that I thought my Athlon XP 2800+ is a "Socket A" device. What's going on? Is the "Copper Silent 2M" cooler really OK to use with my Athlon?

Regards
