EDIT: It looks like the 10% coupon expired yesterday - IMHO this is still very hot, in particular if you need(want) a DVD burner

Thanks to a $200 MIR and a 10% coupon free CDRW drive upgrade and free double memory systems start below $360 yet are semi-loaded. A DVD burner is only $72 more, $18 gets you a 2.66 proc, another $27 gets you a decent grapphics card and another $54 gets you 512MB ram - so for $520 you get a loaded system with DVD burner

Real nice deal, the 10% is easy to find but the $200 isn'y instant it's a mail in rebate.

so what that its $200 MIR, this is the hottest dell deal so far, everyone should be jumping on this deal right now. i wish i hadn't gotten my dell two weeks ago, mine cost me $523 after the $100 rebate, the only extra things i got were the 2.66 for $20 and DVD+RW for $80. with that same set up on this awesome deal now, it would've cost me $460 rather than $523. this deal gives u 256mb ram free, i would gladly pay another $60 for the 512mb ram.

Call them for a price match. If that doesn't work, you did say it's only two weeks ago. Just return the computer. They should just take it back.

I came very close to purchasing this and selling my previous 4550 (still in the box, never opened) until I realized you can't get BOTH the free double RAM and rebate :(

Maybe I read wrong, maybe it was the Dell PowerEdge server?

But can't we just pretend ;) that we can't combine then so I won't buy my 12th computer?

Please :)

Good, let's keep this negativity going ... so I don't order.

I priced out a loaded (2.66/512/XP Home/30GB/CD-RW/DVD) for $512 after 10% coupon, 2% eBates and $200 MIR ...

You comment in the title about Baghdad is totally inconsiderate.
Change it, just out of respect for the innocent people who were ?smoked?

Man,
This coupon is hard to read.... but at the end of section #2

"Offer cannot be combined with double memory offer."

Looks like no free 128M for me... I think its $200 rebate, but I'll need to try and read it again.
