Ok, I have a fairly cheepy case and am learning the hard way that you get what you pay for. My system inside includes a AthlonXP 1800+ on a ECS K7S5A. Powering this I have a enermax 350w with fan control. currently, I am using a GlobalWin WBK38 HSF. Now, I love the amount of cooling this does, but it is sooooooo loud. Also, airflow in my case is a joke, the enermax has a nice intake and out fan, and I have a rear blower, but my front intake fan pretty much does nothing do to cable interferance. Is there a way to mount my front 80mm on my global win Heat-sync and leave off the current 6800rpm fan? If I could do that, then I can leave the side off my case for better airflow till I can get enough $ to buy another case. I think that with the side off, I would get enough flow that the slower fan would be enough for the CPU. any suggestions? thanks
