Cooling advice for a new P4 system please

Hi, this is my 1st post here at anandtech forums. I am building a new system consisting of:

Thermaltake xaser 3 v1000d case
DFI Lan Party pro 875 motherboard
P4 3.2g Northwood
2 WD Raptor HD's in Raid 0
1 WD 120 GB HD for mass storage IDE
8x DVD burner
16x DVD ROM
Ram, Video card - undecided still (too many options)

So, since heat is more and more a concern these days, i'm looking for a nice, cool heatsink/fan combo for this CPU. The anandtech cooling reviews are 2 years old, and I was hoping some of the forum browsers here could help me with suggestions, places i can do more research, check out some reviews, etc. Any and all input would be welcome. I do not want to go with water cooling, I still just don't like that idea (water + expensive electronics = too risky for me). So, any ideas out there? I'm trying to build a nice system here, would hate to fry it by using a crappy cooling solution 🙂 Thanks in advance.

Thermalright SP-94 or SP-97 are some of the best air coolers available. And paired with a nice 92mm fan, it can be quiet too!

I would go with the Zalman CNPS7000-Cu. For around half the price ($30 compared to the SP94 @ $52 + fan) it is a much better option. I have my 2.8C overclocked to 3.6 with a Zalman, and my load temp stays @ 53C (on an ABIT board which all report high). Plus its going to be quieter (its a Zalman) than anything else out there, its easier to install, and it just looks better. I don't think I've heard one complaint from anyone whos had one.

RAM wise, go with either OCZ or HyperX PC4000. I'm sure you will want to OC to around 250FSB, so you will need some good DDR500. You can find a gig of HyperX PC4000 for under $250 (mine cost $200 through Best Buy).
