I need to get the temp lower in my case...
especially my GF2 and my hard drives.

they get REALLY hot (the HDDs), and I think it might be freezing up my comp when I play games..
same for the GF2, even though I have a fan on the chip, it gets pretty hot.

What would be the best way to get those cool? Is there items made specific for Hard drives and Geforce cards?

Thanks

The only thing I would think of is to add more case fans, or add case fans if you don't have any. If you really wanna cool you're hard drives you could buy hard drive coolers that would go in a 5.25" bay. That would only work if you had lots of extra room in your case. I don't know how you could cool your GF2 anymore. Maybe put a hole in your case and have it blow right on to it. Good luck

you could put ramsinks on the video card...but i would just get a slot cooler and put it under the video card. also, i don't know if you are overclocking it...but if you are, stop.

Nope, not overclocking..
it's been really hot here lately, so that could be it...my case is opened...

Thanks for the tips..I guess more fans is the best way.

if the room temp is very high, there's only so much that case fans can do...but it's better to have them than not to have them...

I took a dremel to the side of mine, and put a 92mm Panalow fan blowing in directly over my GeForce2, and put a blue orb and some artic silver epoxy on the chip itself. I also bundled all my cables with zip ties to increase airflow. It's now running at 240/400 (stock is 200/333). Zip ties really do work, I got another 5 degrees or so of my processor temp too. Good luck!
