I have a voodoo3 PCI overclocked right now and it gets pretty damn hot, about the only thing that gets hot in my system besides my Duron. I didnt want to spend 8 bucks for a Blue Orb so i wandering if one of those 486 HSF's (4$) would do the trick. Is it worth the 4 bucks or is a Blue Orb wayyy better?

Thanks for advice/comments

486 fan is plenty. That's all I did when I had my voodoo, the heat sink was to hot to touch, put a 486 fan on it and it was barly warm.

I used a PII fan that I removed from a slot 1 HS, mounted perfectly on the HS of the V3 3000, I also removed the HS from the video card and lapped it and took off the tape that it was adheared with and used some Arctic silver that I had hanging around, it is rock stable at 194 hz, far cry from the 166 hz default, I could not get this card over 188 before I lapped the HS and used arctic silver.
