I have a Radeon 9700 Pro, and like most vid cards, this thing runs very hot even if i'm not playing anything. My pc temps avg ~ 100F, but i can feel the vidcard is WAY hotter. Can anyone recommend which types of Zalman's to use (not too familier with their products), or other solutions? Thanks.

edit: btw wohoo 100 posts! :)

YOu can get a new case, with better air flow, but thats like $80 down the drain. SO I'm not sure you want to do that...

That's really the best solution if you're worried about high case temps, as it exhausts the hot air from the video card outside of the case. The Zalman heatpipes work well (and silently), but won't help your system temperatures. Beyond that, you just need more airflow through the case -- you may be able to rearrange your wiring or expansion card placement to help, or else you need to add a fan or two.
