Cooling a Lian Li PC-101 With Thermalright Ultra-120 (Help)

Ok guys, this is the deal. I have the Lian Li PC-101 case, and will be using the thermalright Ultra-120 Heatsink.

If I position the heatsink to sit horizontally, how will that affect my airlfow? (example:

This is how the air is SUPPOSED to flow:

But since my heatsink (in order to fit) will sit horizontally, it will have to blow air directly UP or DOWN.

What do you think?

Most HSF blow horizontal. You can use the Arctic Freezer Pro and blow sidewards. They do their job.

Case fans do theirs. If its intake or exhaust, the more you have AFAIK, they conduct the case's airflow. I like YL 120mm case fans for being cheap and quiet. They push 47cfm and at 28dBA costing $4 on Jab Tech, do add another to that case.

So are you using this setup? Wondering what your thoughts are. I'm actually considering the same case and cpu heatsink.

It really won't be that bad if you're using a low speed fan, if you're using something pushing a fair amount of air, it may mess up your airflow a little bit, but if you're using the shroud thingy, the exhaust should pull all the hot air out.
