I still have my ticket stubs from where he walked out on stage with Eric Clapton at the Pontiac Silverdome 6 weeks before he died.

Amazing guitarist. He used super heavy gauge stings (as high as 18 gauge- that's like piano wire!). You REALLY need some thick skin on your fingertips to use these, so if he broke a callous before a performance, he was known to dab super glue on his arm, stick his fingers to it, and then rip it off.
