Get anything for Xmas that really wowed you?

My girl got me a Chinese saber! I can't get over how sharp it is (from Cold Steel).
Also recieved a nice 90mm Meade telescope (I'm not a astronomy buff, but this think looks pretty badass) I don't think Baltimore's light pollution will take kindly to it though.


How did you guys make out?
 
don't celebrate christmas, but still got a nice picture frame with a picture of my friends; nice sentimental gift, not of the highest monetary value but definitely something that i appreciated....
 
I participated in Secret Santa amongst friends. Someone else got a wireless Intellimouse Explorer with the blue LED. I was so incredibly jealous. That thing can't be in the $20-$25 range we were all aiming for !

Why? Because of the telescope? I'm sure it will be used once and left in a box for several years like my last one. Believe me when I say the majority of my past times are decidely un-geeky.

Well, I got a croquet set. Been eyeing them up for years.

Oh and the Disney Astro Orbiter to go with my monorail set that I put around the Xmas tree haha.
 
My brothers old PC to compliment my current one, a Canucks ice hockey jersey, and money to cover driving lessons 🙂.
 
I got a watch....I really like it even though its not expensive.

On the other hand I bought a digicam, really nice cordless phone, nice tv, and a few other odds and ends for my family

Hopefully the authentic/functional sword collection being accessorized by the nearby punching bag and sparring mat will help distinguish me from the Star Wars kids and their 440C stainless and aluminum 'katanas.'
