Coolest desktop / HTPC case ever....

If you are into HTPC, or desktop cases, the following case looks to be the coolest model yet:

DIGN HV-5 case

This model is now available in Europe, and should be hitting the states in 2-3 weeks. It will be available in silver, gold, and black. It has a blue LED and aluminum tact switches, a USB-based VFD, an IR interface, and an aluminum body that is a whopping 3.55m thick. Of course, it accomodates an ATX motherboard.

Check out some of their concept designs too (click smaller images for larger pic), like this tower, this desktop, this desktop, and this desktop.

Nice elegant, simple design that demands respect. Reminds me of many high end audio components. The thick aluminum should be good for dampening vibrations as well. Should I ask the cost?

The DIGN is one of the popular HTPC cases. There are many more along the same train of thought, such as the Digitalis, etc...

hues,

With the VFD and power supply, it costs between $260 and $340, depending on where it is sold (currently Asia, limited parts of Europe, Australia).

Wowsers... I wonder if and when any of those concept cases will be available--specifically, any of the tower configurations. I'm building a new PC as we speak and I was just getting excited about a Cooler Master case. Damn.

Well...most of these companies are korean or taiwanese and they just translate to the best of their knowledge.

I'd rather have the AMD version - supposed to be able to support a 2800+ or higher on a 200W PSU???
.bh.
Hoping for :sun: !

I could never pay more than 75 for a case. I guess pretty cases just don't do it for me...only performance.
