Those would really enhance one's gadget bag without adding much weight. It could make one look very professional. The downside might be that I could confuse it with my real 70-200 f/2.8L lens and pack the wrong thing. :)

How about a mug to go with that, :)

Why wasn't this sucker a 70-200mm F/2.8? No stabilization either. And what's the weather sealing on this?

None on ebay :(

EDIT: Looks like they may soon be available for 29.99 cad? I long since replaced the 70-200f4 in my kit with a 100-300 f4 but that just makes it easier for me not to hurt the real lens.

Where did you see that it was going to be available for 29.99 CAD?

Got my 24-105 f/4L mug today:

The detail work is great...I would say this is definitely a more detailed model than the authentic Canon 70-200 f/4L thermos. Even the IR markings on the focus window are there! There are a few little mistakes, like the "24-105" font being slightly off, but overall it's a very realistic model of the lens.

I had one of these, but my copy leaked!

In all seriousness, this is a perfect gift for photographers - or even a good gag gift, if you get your favorite Canon shooter the Nikon :)
