Coolest Case (I am talking about real cooling)

The title says it all. I need an ATX Case that has the best cooling. Right now I have a Falcon Northwest Fragbox II Case and I am sending it back because my FX-55 (ClawHammer) is running anywhere from 61-70C which is way to hot. I have a Zalman 80mm HSF on it but that does't seem to be very effective. I believe the big PSU (SilverStone 520W That is Custom for the case) is getting in the way of the hot air leaving the case, there is little clearance. So I need a very cool case for no more then $125 on NewEgg. Thanks

P.S. At 70C my system starts freezing up, the mouse gets all choppy so yeah, I am getting annoyed. And if you take a look at my Sig, you can see all the parts. When I get the new case I willl be also getting a DFI LanParty Ultra-D Socket 939 Motherboard and an Antec Gold 550W PSU so everything will be in preportion

Sonata Dosen't cool that good because its designed for silence. The coolest cases will be noisy.

frankly the problem you had was the fact that you were putting an FX-55 in a SFF case. That CPU just isn't going to run very well in something that small because of airflow. You should be able to get any mid tower to work fine. Something else you might want to consider is an xp-90 or 120 for the HSF. As far as the 3 cases you mentioned I haven't had any personal experience with them but the Lian Li appealed to me. Also I almost bought the Thermaltake but decide against it because of availability.

Yeah, the FX-55 in the SFF I thought would be okay because I had a good HSF (Zalman), but it just runs too hot. So either the Lian Li or Thermaltake, which one!

The best case should be both cool and quiet, that's what i am hoping the Antec P180 will be.

I wantto get from New Egg. I am leaning toward the Thermaltake. If I get before 8:30 PM I can get it while it is on sale.

yeah, out of all the cases i've seen, the p180 is easily the most impressive.

If it wasn't so big i'd love one myself - but i'm fine with my lanboy.

I would suggest the thermaltake one. I have all stock fans and its amazingly cool. plus i think 2 120mm and a 90mm fan moves more air than 4 80mm fans. Just an idea

I would get the Thermaltake. Although the build isn't quite as nice as the Lian Li, it would definately cool better than it. Get two Deltas for it and you've got a really cool case.

so whatever.

get a case with 120mm fans, you'll appreciate the extra cooling
