So here's the scoop, if you are into RTCW and haven't gotten the game yet, try and find the "Collector's Edition" version that comes in a Tin. I walked into EB today to find a game that would truly push the GF3 Ti200 I'm testing, and I figured RTCW was a good pick. Plenty of copies, but the friggin box was so darn ugly! Look below, and see this cool looking RTCW tin container. Figured it was an action figure or something, but it turns out its the collectors version. The retail was going for $55, so I figured this was gonna be at least $70 bucks.
Well, the normal RTCW box is just plain jane lame, and I figured I could use the tin to store my computer tools and what not. So I ask the guy how much it costs, and it turns out its only $5 bucks more! Figure it might have some lame extras, but hey, $5 bucks more not to have the normal box was OK in my book. Come home, open it up, inspect the contents, and find an AWESOME RTCW patch!!! If you are wondering what I'm talking about, its a cloth patch, like the one you'd find on a biker's jacket or on a soldier's uniform. I'm talking really high quality, raised embroidering in red and white to form the Thunderbird/W RTCW logo. Its about 4x2'' and can be easily fixed to the front or side of a case. Would be a nice touch for those of you who are into LAN parties and such. You also get a color manual that looks like a leath bound field manual, but made of paper. Still a nice touch though. So for $5 bucks more, you get a RTCW tin case, a killer badge/patch, and a neat game manual. Oh yah, you get the game too
So just a heads up if you haven't gotten the game yet and might be interested in this stuff.
