Of course the Pantheras, which includes tigers, lions, leopards and jaguars.

Relatives of the Pantheras, almost equally cool: pumas and cheetahs.

Agreed? :)

What about the octopus? I remember seeing that video of how leet it was. And that guys leet hamster who wanted to be in the NRA, that was pretty cool, though it was the only case of leetness ever found in a hamster, but it is worth honorable mention.

I would have to say that the coolest animals are monkeys though. When I was in the Philippines we had some as pets, and they're super cool and smart. Like, if you had them on a long leash and they were climbing trees they could get themselves untangled and whatnot. They're like little people, who like to throw poo and do the dirty when everyone is watching.

Cuttlefish. They can see ultraviolet and polarized light. They can change their skin color and texture, and their face kind of looks like Cthulu's. What's not to like?:)

Unfortunately, they can't stop growing and die from heart failure :(

As for me, it's either the snake or the housecat.

Snake: Really really fast, can bite multiple times in a few seconds, and the poisonous ones can be rather nasty and lethal (duh)

Housecat: Aside from the two cases I'm aware of where a housecat chased off a bear (in one case, TWICE, declawed on the front, and would have done it a third time if the owner hadn't called it off), My cat is pretty smart. She LOVES the teaser wand. How much? When I put it in the pantry, she kept finding ways to almost get it off the top shelf. When I moved it to the top of a bookshelf, she managed to climb up to the top (barely) to grab it and pull it down. When I decided to put it in a drawer in the kitchen, she figured out how to open the drawer. The middle drawer, which is the hardest for her to try to open. Generally, she also knows how to open cabinets on the rare occasion when she gets really really bored and feels like exploring.

Put it into a fire safe, and put safecracker tools right there on top. Or better yet, a paper with the combination written on it.

The Peregrine Falcon. I like hawks, falcons, and eagles in general. When they move into a territory, they totally WTFPWN all the damn crows in the area. Love 'em.
