CoolerMaster Viva on 6600GT

Hi,

My Gigabyte 6600GT PCI-e is running at 74C under load.
Will it be cooler and quieter if I install the Coolermaster Viva on it ?

Anything is better than those sawed-off-runt stock coolers.

Yes, you will be able to get the vid card temps down with the Coolermaster Viva.

You might want to look for an Arctic Silencer instead though, because the Arctic NV Silencer can duct heat from the vid card directly out of the case.

Do anyone know if it fits with my chaintech vnf4 ?
The chipset heatsink is very close to the pci-e slot.

Hi,

I can get the Coolermaster Viva locally at 14.50$ CAN.
The Zalman is about 35$ CAN and the NV Silencer too.

Anyone tried the Viva on a 6600GT ?
