Hi guys,

just installed a coolermaster sphere @ home wich i got from work. (http://www.coolermaster.com/pr...il&tbcate=386&id=3126)

I'm running a E8500 CPU on it and temperatures are incredebly low in my opinion.

My case is fully closed (will post pics this evening) and my room temperature is about 20°C.

The E8500 runs @ 23/24°C after a hour of normal computer usage (surfing, mailing, chatting, downloading, defragmenting...)

Temperatures in full throttle go by max 40°C. Checked with different tools (only everest is showing a different temp)

Got many E8500 CPUs @ work and never had such good results with air cooling.

Probably the sensors on my P5K are damaged ;-) Joke.

I would recommend the Sphere for everyone that wants a quite and very
powerful cooling solution @ home although its a very large and quite heavy cooler.

Has anyone made a simillar experience with a Wolfdale Core?

Some screens i took (very) early this morning (don't blame me 4 my background pic ^^):

with ambient temperature of about 16C, my E6600 @ 3ghz idles at about 20C and is at about 40 at a full load, and that's with an AF7pro.

So it doesn't seem that weird to me >_>

hrhr ya right ;-) just wondered...or maybe just wanted to show my ass background ^^ LOL

@ Jax, 16°C ambient is very low ;-) in a closed case? Normally your room temperature has to be colder than that, damn i would freeze my fingers off working in your room i guess ;-)
