I am looking for a power supply for my new case. And I am having the hardest time in the world deciding on what is the best option. So far I like the Coolermaster 450 the best because it has a quiet 120mm fan. I am looking for something quiet, so please no one recommend the PC P&C. My only problem right now is I am worried that 450W isn't enough. Some people say it will be just fine, others say its not enough power. I honestly dunno who to listen to.

I was going to go with the OCZ Powerstream 520W but that green fan pisses me off. I really dunno why OCZ had to put a green fan. That is the only reason I scratched it off my list. But honestly, if it was simple to change the fan, I would probably still go with that PSU. If anyone knows if it is simple or not to change the fans let me know, and maybe I'll go that route.

Anyway can someone just recommend the best PSU for my situation?

My system is going to be as follows:

CM Stacker Case
AMD 64 3000+
Asus A8N SLI Deluxe
512x2 OCZ 3200 Platinum Rev2
74GB Raptor
Probably a 200+GB Seagate
single 6800GT for now, will buy another for SLI once price drops
NEC 3500A DVD/RW
SB Live Audigy 2 Platinum
probably about 5 case fans, and some other small accessories, like cathodes and stuff.

That green light is annoying. They should offer a blue or nothing at all.

I am going to run this:

FX55
Via k8t mobo
6800 Ultra
2x SATA drives
floppy
5 fans

run all that with either an OCZ 420w or a Zalman, Fortron, or Enermax.

I know the OCZ 420w will run mine no problem so you'd be fine. The specs are what really matter. Look at the ratings.

Well so far every review I have read on the Coolermaster says its great, stable, and very quiet. Just the sound of 450W tho when everyone else is using 500+ watt PSU's scares me. I don't want to make the wrong choice. But I think most likely thats what I'm going to go with, and if it winds up not being powerful enough I guess I'll just sell it. But I really don't wanna go with that OCZ for the simple fact that those green LED's will ruin the look of my case considering all the other fans and lighting in my case will be blue. Like u said above, I wish it was either blue or no light at all.

500W+ isn't necessary. You can run a system with quite a few components on 350W to 400W, as long as the power supply is of good quality. Any quality 350W Antec/Enermax/etc. is leagues better than some generic 1.21 jigawatt thing.
