Coolermaster Praetorian - discontinued??

I was told by a store in Canada that the Praetorian is a discontinued model, is this true?

What does everyone think about this case? What does the black one look like in person? What is a good PSU to go with it?

It hasn't really been discontinued they are just not shipping it to Canada anymore. They decided you snowballs are just a bunch of losers and don't deserve to have this case. 😉 J/K

Seriously, AFAIK the Praetorian is still being made. Several of the major on line US retailers have it in stock in black and silver. I am not sure what the difficulties are in buying from the US if you are in Canada. Its a pretty good case in black or silver. If you like it you and can't get it might want to consider some of the Lian-Li cases. Some of their PC-6xxx series look very similar to the Praetorian. I have the PC-6077 which looks like a cross between CoolerMaster's Praetorian and the CM Stacker. It looks like the Praetorian but the entire front is 5.25 bays like the CM Stacker. I chose the 6077 over the Praetorian for that reason and also because it has two 80 mm fans in the rear, not just one.

the praetorian seems readily available. why not go for the centurion 5 or check out the lianli pc-60plus, there is a review on amdreview blackinches' believes. looks pretty sweet. uses 120mm fans instead of 80mm.

The Centurion5 is a clean looking case, but definitely more of a generic case than the Praetorian is.

the Centurion is not all aluminum like the Praetorian, and is basically that one grade down from it.

I do like the looks of the C5, but it's definitely no Praetorian. I like the Wavemaster better than both 😉

The Centurion is the coolest and quietest of the bunch by far, excluding stacker which is just nuts....frankly, I think it's no contest right now - if you're buying a CoolerMaster, Centurion 5 or Stacker are the only ones worth considering.


Of course, I'm a wee bit biased, but still.

i love the praetorian, but i would have liked it better with 120 fans for noise, but a fan controller works too.

never been a big fan of the bezels, otherwise i love the wave master.
