Coolermaster or Lian-Li ?

If I get this case, what PSU should I get and can I use the stock fans? Also I want to add lighting in the case - does this case come with a side window?

Thanks

I personally like the Antec TruePower line because they strike a nice balance between silence and reliability. I have the 430W model. The fans that come with the case are 4 YS-Tech fans that run at 1900 RPM. They're extremely quiet. I still use them and I think they're adequate, but there are higher power Panaflo fans that may be just as quiet.

Actually there are many variations of the 201 that you can check out. I think they're all the same except for the side door.

ATC-201A - Side door with an intake hole right at the CPU so that your CPU fan can pull in cool air from outside the case
ATC-201B - side door with a window
ATC-201C - Same as the 201A but no intake hole

Check out coolermaster.com to see the various models models. Each of the 3 also has various submodels with different colors, etc...I'm frustrated right now because I have the model without the side door blowhole, but Coolermaster won't let me order the door separately...so I may sell mine on Ebay and get the 201A.

If you are willing to spend so much for that case, you'll probably be able to spend some on Antec or Enermax PSUs.. IMHO Antecs are better for AMD coz the have higher +5v which AMD chips runs on, while Enermax are better for P4s coz of the higher +12v (i'm kinda pulling this outta my a$$, but correct me if i'm wrong)

Yes you can use stock fans, but they are probably noisier/have less CFMs compared to other fans.. most people use Panaflo L1A coz they're silent, reliable and pushes decent amount of air.

While I don't think this particular case comes with a side window from the manufacturer (not sure), you could probably find a 3rd party that sells a pre-modded case with the mods, and probably even with all the lighthings and stuff. It's much more cheaper to do it yourself though.. plus you can brag to your friends about it 😉

i would relate the stock fans to the stock heatsink for the pentium 4. they're quite adequate...but yes there are better options out there.

I guess coolermaster it is. I'll have to think about the PSU (antec or enermax). I'll try out the stock fans first and then switch later if needed.

Do all of you think the stock heatsink is fine for OC'ling as much as possible without water cooling?

Thanks

No, peeps here would scream how inadequate stock cooling is for overclocking, much less so for "as much as as possible"!

Okay - stock heat sink and stock fans? Or something else? I want to OC to 3.5 or higher if possible without using a water cooling system.
