CoolerMaster HHC-001 on PPGA Celeron?

No, the question is not if this would make sense (I guess it won't 😀 ), its just if its possible (just temporary). Or can't the cooler hold on the clip (incompatible?). Or is the whole thing to heavy to stay on the slotket? What about other good cheap heatsinks? It HAS to be compatible with Athlon XPs, if possible it should be able to overclock.

Btw: Can I just mount a 80, 92 or 120 to 60mm fan adapter with the correct fan on it? e.g. the 92mm high power Panaflo's?

the HHC-001 is Socket 7 / Socket A / Socket 370 compatible.

Not sure about the slotket, since I can't remember which way the socket is situated on the slotket.
If it's the wrong way, then the heatpipes would try to connect with the motherboard. And some
of it will depend upon where your SLOT1 slot is located and how much clearance you have in front
of the slot as to how big of a HS/F you can actually put on the slotket.

As far as a bigger fan, I have a 60 x 80 converter on my HHC-001, and have a Panaflo 80mm M1A on it
(Currently on my XP 1800+).
Another pretty good HS/F is the Taisol GCK760092. I moved that from my XP 1800 over to the Kids
Celeron 850@933, and it's doing fine......

ok, sounds good. MB has enough space for a Golden Orb. Actually it should be enough for all those high end coolers in the time of the Golden Orb (still remember? 😀 ) So height should be no problem (hopefully...). But wideness may be. The chipset cooler is rather close to the Golden Orb... so that might indeed be a problem. But it doesn't really matter that much if it works, although it would be tempting to see how well the Celeron will OC with such a fan 🙂 (366@458... won't post at 550 until maybe 2.5 or 2.6V (yep, that IS high I guess)).

About the adapter: In that case I think a 120mm fan would be cool, or at least a 92mm if size is ok. I had the power version of the Panaflo and it just blows (was too strong... flew into pieces
