CoolerMaster......DP5-6J31C.......not so cool ???

Hey there,

I have a CoolerMaster DP5-6J31C for my wife's comp but it runs really hot. Like
52C in the desktop. The case temp is 23-25C. I am using AS3 on this thing. It came
with a Y.S. Tech fan that puts out about 27.72 CFM. It's on a XP 1600+
It says it can handle an XP 2100+. I find this hard to believe with temps like this.

Hey There,

I am just curious. I am thinking about doing a mod just for fun. I am thinking about
adding a copper base to this thing just to see what happens. I can use some thermal
adhesive like artic alumina. The only thing is, "Where do I get a copper plate?"
I am thinking Loews or Home Depot.
Where would I find some information, IE: Physics information as to the optimal
thickness and width and so forth on this ??
