Saw one I believe on Performance PC, looked ok but5 thw window was a bit too small. So I saw this on on Frozen PC today, wooooo I haven't had a windowed case for awhile now, got tired of looking at my messy ass wiring skills. Am going to re-do my system and water cool, this window looks sweet. $300 bucks is pretty insane for a case though.

I love the Cosmos as is but this is a pretty sick mod, probably worth the extra $100 to me. As I wouldn't dare attempt to cut up a $200 case on my own and surly fuck it up.

I really like the industrial style and capability (E-ATX mobo, E-SATA ports, etc)) of the Cosmos. We need more full towers these days, IMO.

But the cooling is all messed up in that case; particularly the HD cooling/intake side of things. The only air intake for the whole case is that one bottom fan in BACK of the hard drives. How are the drives supposed to get fresh air?

I researched it and found that you can buy another fan to put ON TOP of the hard drive area, but you lose one of your 5.25" bays when you do that. Plus, it would then pull air up from that single intake fan and mess up the front-->rear airflow in the case.

$300 is a lot of dough...up there in the LianLi and Silverstone stratosphere.

Not trying to threadcrap...just my $.02. :)

Since you are going to be doing water cooling, I wouldn't worry to much about the cooling of the HD's. they'll get enough air to keep the temps even......I would go with the Frozen CPU case.....Not only does it look great, but Perfromance-PC's customer service as of late sucks....I quit buying from them.

I don't worry about cooling HD's anymore, over the past 3 years I've had cases with all the cooling I could fit and some with almost none. My luck with HD's always seems to suck. I think I've had 4 or 5 die on me in those 3 years. A couple WD and a couple Seagates. I sort of just expected to loose a HD once a year ;)

to MichaelD, I love the Silverstone whatevermodel Murderbox uses but it's over 300 clams without any window mod. LianLi has some sweet cases too. This is why it's taking me so damn long to make my mind up on which case to go with. Too many choices is a blessing because right now I'm pretty broke and couldn't afford any case except maybe $40 Coolmax special @ PCClub with the PSU's that blow up heheh.
