Thanks, great deal. I've had one of these for the past two years and I love it. Not only does it look great but having the controls and USB & Firewire ports on the top is extremely convenient when the case is placed on the floor. The workmanship on the case was excellent - no nicked knuckles despite endless tinkering inside the case. I just grabbed another one.

Does anyone know if the aluminum bars in front are removable?? ...without having to hack them off, that is. Thanks!

Why would you want to take them off?

because they can be annoying.

i had this case and the columns are annoying, especially if you need to move the case. also, the tops of the columns have little caps that will most likely fall off. super glue works to put them back on.

the usb ports on the top are nice but very flimsy and can break easily also.

other than that, its a nice case.

I got the case in the mail today. It is a good deal at $50 shipped, and a bargain at $30 shipped. The case is very solid and designed for easy installation. The built in fan is nice; although I do not care for the blue LED's.

The manual supplies instructions in fantastic Engrish, referring to "PCI Lucks," "Fan Ducks," and "Alumnus Bars." :)

I'm considering cutting off the "Alumnus" bars with my dremel tool. It looks like there is room for a nice, clean cut.
