Does anyone know if the Western Digital 300g Velociraptor w/icepack will fit into the 3.5 inch drive bays in the Coolermaster ATCS 840? I'm worried about the icepack causing problems.

so? it has the exact same mountings as a normal 3.5 drive. the ATCS 840 uses the same mountings as the HAF932, and my 150gb Vraptor fits just fine with icepack. i have no idea where you got the idea it would cause problems fitting, unless you are thinking of the 300gb vraptor issue where the first icepack design didnt fit in a hotswap bay, but thats completely different, since the ATCS840 doesnt use hotswap bays. the issue was that the backplate (power and SATA) didnt line up to a standard backplate, which was fixed in a later revision, but that has no relation what so ever to how they mount in.
