personnally thermaltake fans arent all they are cracked up to be and secondly when i had one, it blew motherboard, memory, cpu.. i wasnt happy..
apparently it didnt sit properly on the core and it only covered about 20% of it, then it blew it up when i turned it on.. not knowing this i was rather annoyed and frustrated but still these things happen...
i have found a nice, cheap, cooling fan and although people laugh and make jokes, its actually a better cooler than most that i have seen..
i use the Speeze fans, the falcon rock in particular.. if it doesnt cool enough, change the fan with one that is an 80mm varible speed model and away you go.. i have been hearing that a duron with one of these varible speed fans and the falcon rock, was finding it hard to get into double figures.. and also my gf's xp1800 (thats not perfectly cooled by any means..) is NEVER going above 40c under load.
i would consider this fan, mostly because of its price more than anything.. £13 is nothing.. im going to be using one on my throughbred b core xp1700... and i will be overclocking it, so if its not good enough for cooling, i will try the varible fan.. then if its still not to what i want it to be, i will change fans, but i have confidence that it will work out just fine
