Apparently it rivals water cooling systems from Corsair, but at like 1/3 the price. Seriously. the H60 is $60, while the 212 is $20.

But it's humongous.

Could this thing fit in an ITX case? I figured an h60 would be idea for itx b/c it shunts heat outside of the system, but this thing might work out. Also it's really a lot of weight it seems to put on the MB, if installed on a MB that is held perpendicularly, could it crack it over time?

I am using a Hyper 212+. The weight is substantial but not too bad given the system uses a backplate to spread the weight and keep the motherboard flat. The heatsink is very tall so slender cases are a no-go as you won't be able to put the side of the case back on without hitting the top of the heat pipes. Also, this hangs over the RAM, so I have the cooler blowing from the back of my case to the front so it doesn't hit the top of the Corsair sticks I am using. If you are using those low profile Samsung sticks though, this would be no problem.

edit: What mini-ITX case are you looking at. Looking through the nin-ITX section at newegg, I would say it wouldn't fit in any but the largest of them.

I like Lian-li.

Yeah, the hyper 212 is a really good deal, but to me it looks like it's best for larger cases. The corsair watercooling units I'm guessing would work well in SFF because they route heat to an outside radiator, while the hyper212 just blows heat inside the case.
