There hasn't been much in the way of power supply reviews lately, and it looks like Tom's reviewed and released these two reviews around the same time, so I'm just going to combine them.
First, the Phantecks AMP series is based of Seasonic's new Focus line, and seem to be a good PSU based on $/performance in the U.S.

Key points:
-Quiet
-10 year warranty
-U.S. pricing is very competitive
The 2nd unit is the Cooler Master V750, which is manufactured by Chicony Electronics (a company I rarely see anything from in the U.S.). This unit doesn't perform all that well, especially in the noise department, and is not readily available or priced competitively in the U.S. Like the article points out, there are cheaper and much better units available.

Key points:
-Noisy
-Lacks NTC thermistor and MOV in transient filter / high 115v inrush currents
-Expensive and U.S. availability is not good.
-10 year warranty
