they both look amazing. the only thing that would make me not buy praetorian is the full tower door.

Choose whichever one has the best airflow. If there's about no difference, then just choose whichever one you like best.

I like the WaveMaster, it's a beutiful case. I really like it in yellow. Zebo posted the Wavemaster he WCed for his son yesterday. Dazzling :p

The two 80mm intake fans on the WaveMaster are not mounted on the inner front panel because it is wave formed. Plus the intake holes are sad little things and few in number. The end result is very poor intake air. But if your system needs little air it would be OK.

For a really nice case of this type, take a look at the Kingwin KT424 series of cases.

I have no opinion on the other case.

I looked at pics of that AMMO and could not find the Samsonite logo. It should be on there
somewhere because it looks like a refugee from a suitcase factory :D

the praetorian im assuming that you are talking about is the new one. they have an older one without the door, the new one is supposed to be the 'Wavemaster 2". I was actually considering the Praetorian, but ended up with a lian-li pc-60 PLUS. but if it had to be between the two, the praetorian for sure. it has a 120mm front intake, side panel duct for the cpu that is removable, and the entire front panel is mesh; very good air circulation. The front door also has graet ventilation because it really is just a slab of aluminum that is "suspended", so it doesnt block any air to go into the meshed front panel.

As my cousin pointed out, the Praetorian looks kinda like a razor for shaving. lol

Which is cool, at least it doesn't look like a refrigerator.

I'm actually going to order the Praetorian today. I was also thinking of the Lian Li 60 Pluse, buuuut, it looks too cozy and tight inside, and is made my some Asian company. Also I like how the Praetorian looks, and the Lian Li probably has better cooling for some, with their unique design features, but it couldn't be that much better than the Cooler Master. Who really knows anyway?

i have the lian li pc-60 plus. it really isnt tight inside, the praetorian has been said to be tight inside actually. thats why i steered away from it. if you do wanan get the praetorian, there is an identical one by abs; its just a re-brand of the cooler-master --> http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi...TTR11=&ATTR12=&ATTR13=&ATTR14=&ATTR15=
at the time, it was 100, now they uped the price to 135. so when you do purchase, just keep an eye out for both of them, the CM and the ABS. The CM model on newegg is 149 right now.

But honestly, this is a view of my pc-60 plus.

the wiring imo is tidy, and there is sufficient space as you can see.

Are you talking about the Praetorian 730 vs Wavemaster 1? Because the original Praetorian is certainly not the same price. It goes for around $100 + shipping whereas the Wavemaster goes for around $130 + shipping. Personally, I own an original Praetorian and love it. It's has the same layout as the old ATC series cases with a clean brushed aluminum exterior that looks great.

The Wavemaster, while it looks good, would be annoying to me because I don't like doors or lights on my cases, especially lights directly on the front of the case. Also, the Praetorian 1 gives you slightly better cooling with a direct vent to the intake fans.

The Praetorian 730 has without question the better cooling of the three, however it would be decidedly loud and personally I think they ruined the look with the plate on the side panel and the oddly-shaped door.

I just got the Praetorian and it is actually pretty damn quiet, mainly because the included case fans are kinda weak, but the temps are still good at idle, I haven't tested it on load (room temp is at 74 F currently). The door is surprising very durable and solid feeling, made of aluminum just like the rest of the case, opens easily and stays closed easily. And if you really wanted, it looks like you could remove the front door altogether, it appears to simply be screwed on from the top and bottom of the case.

Pretty dang easy to work inside also. A removable MB tray is always nice. Thumbscrews for the PCI slots and on the back of the case rules. Mesh-type front for better air circulation. A couple negatives, the PSU was a tight fit for the PCIe plug on my OCZ Modstream, no slide rails for the optical drives (not a big deal). Doesn't have a removable HD cage (also not a big deal).

I'd give more details but this isn't my full review. Anyways, I'm very satisfied and would easily recommend it to anyone.

I would go with Cooler Master Praetorian and not just because my user name is Cooler.

My wife's machine uses the Wavemaster and it's certainly a nice case (nicer in person than online even), but the Praet clearly has some more cooling potential with the side fan and extra rear fan. Depends on how serious your cooling needs are, and your sense of style. Unless you've got a butt-ton of components or are doing some pretty serious OC'ing, I don't think the Wavemaster is going to be any limitation.
