Cooler Master LED vs Antec LED

I'm thinking of getting one of these 80mm LED fans, but I cannot decide which one is better.

Cooler Master or Antec?

Anybody seen/use either of these fans?
Noise/CFM isn't really a factor - I just want whichever one is brighter =)

Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Better as brighter led? or better reliability or better noise level?
On paper, CM fan will have less noise level than Antec unit.
Most 80mm fans have pretty good life unless it's some cheaply made sleeve bearing.

CM uses rifle bearing whcih contribute to its slightly lower noise.

I've have both in my case, 2 antec blue led fans, and 1 cooler master TLF-R82. I had to return the first TLF-R82 because one of the leds didn't work and the others would dim and brighten in no particular order.....

I vote for the Antecs hands down. Even though they only have 3 leds as opposed to cooler master's 4 leds, the leds are a lot brighter, and the fan looks a lot better. I also like Antecs fan design better too, it has the sunon type fins, the cooler master has the curved to the side type fins, which I dont think are as good (my opinion of course).

I still like the cooler master, and its pretty good for the money (the Antecs are more expensive), but IMO the Antec wins.

Oh, and another point is, the TLF-R82 has a 3pin connection and the Antecs have a 4 pin connection with a seperate wire for RPM monitoring. I've never checked the RPM's of the Antecs, but the Cooler master runs at about 2700 rpm according to MBM5.

Read what BZeto wrote, that was my experience w/ the two fans as well.

The antec is WAY brighter compared to the CoolerMaster, but the Antec lacks a 3 pin connector its only a 4.
I did order blue leds at www.plycon.com that I liked. They seem just as bright as the Antecs and had a 3 pin....

I'm fine with the blue LED fan I bought from SVC. It's not a super-powerful fan, but it keeps my Athon XP1500@1700 at around 40C. That is of course with an Alpha 8045 though.😀
The fan's nice and bright though; but do check out a cold cathode fan if you want bright.

I think the Antec fan come with a pass-thru and the coolermaster fans (which I have) come with a 3-4 adaptor that acts as a pass-thru

ok, i just bought 5 of the quad blue leds from SVC (2 intake, 2 exhaust, 1 cpu).

how will this stack up against a single cold cathode tube?
i had a CC tube/fan combo before but had to return it because the fan wasnt pushing enough CFMs (below 25)
