I'm surprised no one posted this sooner, it's been around since Black Friday. I would've posted it, but they were having a hard time keeping them in stock for a while.

I received mine last week. Be warned that this thing is HUEG.

Excellent CPU cooler for only a few bucks shipping. Cooling is 3 to 4C shy of the Big Typhoon. The shroud is good enough to get some air to the PWM area.

Rebate expires tomorrow, so it's impossible to get the $20 back if you buy it today. Am I missing something? How's this a good deal? Also this cooler is real crappy by today's standards IMO. It only has about 8 degrees difference in temps compared to intel stock cooler.

$26 is too much for such sub par cooling .

Yeah these are supposed to be pretty decent heatsinks..

I picked up the same one on black friday at Frys. Theirs was FAR as well.

I currently have a Zalman 9500 on my dual-core so.....It would be a pain in the ass to take it out to test the hyper tx. Perhaps I will find the time after finals.

Compared to the stock heatsink that came with my E2140 (all-aluminum), the HyperTX2 is at least 10C cooler, if not more. (I put the stock heatsink on, and shut down the machine once it hit 10C over what it had been with the HyperTX2, was hitting 78C Tcase temp.)
