I've used that HSF with my 1.4GHz (at 1.466) T-Bird for about 4 months, and it seems to work fine. Normal temps with Motherboard Monitor 5 (MBM5) are 43/20 degrees C in an InWin S500 case. It is the retail HSF for retail-boxed 1.4GHz from AMD with 3 year warranty, so I would expect AMD has confidence in the unit. It isn't terribly noisy either.

Overclockers will most likely feel differently.
