Nice! What is that rear exhaust fan in the pics?

Rear exhaust fan is a Panaflo L1A 120mm

I am french speaking. I will do my best but my explanations might not be perfectly clear.

Take your side panels off and you will see that there are plastic 'pegs' on each side of the front panels. These 'pegs' hold the front panel to the case. You need to squeeze and push them out of the case.

I used pliers to do this.

thanks, i actually figured it out before, but i'm glad you posted that - sometimes after i figure things out I discover there was an easier way, but if that's how you do it too, that must be it.

anyone know what those little silver things around the window are called? i'm looking for replacements. did a froogle search for nuts, and acorn nuts, which i know are similar, but no avail.

going to the hardware store tomorrow

Thanks for posting those! That's a great, simple solution for adding more cooling fans. I'm going to throw some more in my case tomorrow.

I finally added a single 120mm fan below my optical drive like you have yours and it dropped my temps 3 degrees celsius across the board. Anyone else wanting to drop your system temps a few degrees I strongly suggest giving this a go!

i just recently built my friends sytem in this case
enermax noisetaker psu
asus a8n5x
x1800xt
3800+
WD 160gb SATA
cpu and chipset temps are great. idles in 30's with stock cooling
HDD is giving me some problems, the 80mm fan in the front isn't changable for a 120mm or even 92mm fan. WD hard drive idles at 55C, dunno what o do to reduce temps, anyone have any ideas? PM me pleasee...

With my current case, I've moved my HDDs to the back of some 5.25" bays and ziptied an 80mm fan in front of them. I'll probably do the same thing with the Centurion. My Raptor is too hot without the 80mm blowing on it.

Actually you do not need to use pliers or push those pegs. Infact you do not need to open the side of the case at all to remove the front panel.:D

There are two grooves running down the edges of the front panel. You can put your fingers in these grooves at the top and pull carefully to prise the front panel open. Repeat at the bottom/middle. Its very smooth and easy, requiring only moderate force and no tools whatsoever.

That partially true... you can do it without taking off the sides, but especially the first time, i needed quite a bit of force. It does help to go at it from the back and try to squeeze the peg together and through

Well, I setup my system in this case last night and so far I only have one complaint. I read in a couple of reviews that the front 80mm was noisy and annoying, so I swapped it out immediately for one of the 80mm May Jie MJ802512 fans I had in my old case. Unfortunately, the fan is incredibly whiny in the new case. I just don't understand it. It wasn't this loud in my old case and I was running two of them! Is there something wrong with the front fan position? I'm going to experiment with a Zalman Fanmate 2 to see if I can tone down the noise, but that workaround won't explain why the fan is louder in this case at 12V. Making matters worse is the front fan mount is completely buried and blocked in by my GPU and HDDs at this point. :(

Is there any way to mod the case so that you can fit a 120mm fan in the front?
