My wife made her machine with a Centurion 5 case. I was impressed. Not too keen on the whole drive bay slide holder thing, as I just prefer screws, but it works well enough. Just too bad it doesn't have a removeable mobo tray... Then it would have been perfect.

Oh wow that was that case that I saw in the pics? I really liked that one. Got some more pics?

I bought a Centurion5 last week. I am quite pleased with it.

Everything is fine except for the front fan which is a bit noisy.I have undervolted it to 5 V and everything is fine now.

The Centurion 5 is a very nice case.

starwars7 yes find a Panaflo 120x38mm (width, thickness) fan. The L1A's are fairly quiet and the M1A's are noisyer but at 7v they are almost silent.

Yeah, I built my gf's system with a centurian, and I just love the thing. Great airflow. Granted, I have new fans in there, but hey, when do you ever get good stock fans? Rarely. Best case/$$ ratio I've ever seen.

Ok, I have a question on this case. I just got it yesterday (and I like it!) but I am having one problem. The front audio ports - how do I get those to work?? I have a Soundblaster Xi-Fi, if it matters (so the onboard audio from my ASUN A8N_SLI Premium is disabled).

Any help?

The Centurion is a nice case but I kind of prefer the look of the red-headed stepchild of the Cooler Master family, the Ammo 533. I know, I'm probably the only one who actually likes it... :)

I just zip-tied my front panel audio cables off and didn't connect them to the mobo. I haven't looked into it but I doubt I can hook the cables to my Audigy 2 ZS. Not sure how the X-Fi is.

Upping this cause i got a related question - how are the tooless drive bay features implemented? Is it possible to remove the rails and just use screws like in my chenbro gaming bomb?

Theres no rails; its a locking system. It works really good too. The build quality is amazing. Its a heavy case.

The locking rails have holes in them, so you can use normal screws in addition to the rails.

awesome!

can you remove the rails at all? (short of breaking them)

also, does anyone want to measure the window dimensions for me (if you have a windowed case)

Been using the Centurion 5 for about a year now. Very nice case. Have some pics of my build. Added a few extra 120mm fans zip tied to the HDD bay and another zip tied under my CD-ROMs. Provides a bit more extra airflow.

I actually purchased the same case and a Akasa 120mm Amber Series for rear exhaust. But the parts will not arrive until probably early next week. You can PM me if you want to know how it turns out.
