That mini r80 looks pretty good and I think it could fit in my new wavemaster case, but I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone gotten it? How well does it perform? More importantly, where the heck did you find it??
Here ya go. They've got a reseller rating of 9.5 so I bet it's safe.
I've never actually used the thing but MaximumPC gave it a 4.5 out of 5 with a Kickass award. They say it's the easiest to install, took them about 15 mins, comes with the water so you don't have to worry about filling/bleeding or any reservoirs, and the pump and everything is attached to the block. The only parts to it is the radiator and the block. It performs pretty well too. The only thing about it is that you can't hook up anything else to it (such as VGA coolers, NB coolers, etc). But if the only thing you're looking to cool is your CPU (and you're not into modding) then it's a pretty good choice.
Better buy it soon, they "only have ONE in stock!"
A word of warning........the aquagate mini does NOT fit all motherboards. The capacitors on my A7N8X are too close to the CPU to mount the waterblock. With some dremel modification to the block- it might be possible, but otherwise you'll risk bending the capacitors below the CPU. Also, the NB heatsink is awfully close to the tubes. Not sure if it's an issue since I couldn't mount the block, but it might cause some problems.
