Didn't geforceFX cards have a seperate clock speed for 2D and 3D operations to keep temperatures down? I have the newest forceware drivers and I noticed that not only is the 2D/3D settings gone, but auto detect feature also doesn't work?

Any way of getting these 2 features back?
 
I dl'ed and installed the 56.72s yesterday and I have the features you're describing. You might try reinstalling them.
 
I just reinstalled everything using driver cleaner and reinstalled coolbits...

the overclocking menu is there but it only has "no overclock" "overclock" and 2 sliders. Under the 2 sliders is a "start with current setting" and a "restore to default" button.

I am missing the "2D/3D" tab and my autodetect feature doesn't work.

I'm using an ASUS FX5900 128mb
 
I just removed, driver cleaned and reinstalled 56.72s last night and after reapplying CoolBits, I have all the features for OCing - sliders, separate 2D/3D settings, Auto-Detect, the works - just as before.

Dunno what's going wrong for stardust.😕

Asus usually varies from the reference design more than any other manufacturer. I don't know much about your specific model, but if nVidia changed something in the ref. drivers your card may require Asus's drivers for some functions.
 
I think it's because of the graphics card design. Asus has its own "asus nvidia drivers" on their website and a tool called the "smartdocter" that acts like the 2D/3D feature on coolbits..

But didn't you have them before?

I thought the issue was that they no longer appear. The asus card should be a reference design, AFAIK, and should work the same.

Weird problem.
 
My friend's 3dworks? FX5600XT did that. I think the problem was with how I enabled coolbits on it. How did you do it? Compare to everyone else. (Its been a while since I did it, I dont remember exactly).
 
I just dll'ed the registry executable and double clicked it. Like I always have..

This is a new card, my previous nvidia card was the Ti4400.
