coolbits setting for MX on 2k isn't saved

i have a gladiac MX with core speed at 195 and RAM speed at 200. i have the settings applied at startup. however after a couple of restarts or shut downs, the settings will be gone and the core speed and memory will be back to default and i have to rechange them back to what i want.

what's going on? any ideas?

should i delete the coolbits registry value and rre-type them in?
