Coolbits Question

Hey guys! I have 81.98 series installed right now with the coolbits mod. It took my card from 300/600 to 425/800! (256MB 6800 PCIe NU) I've been running my card like this since the earlier half of the year without problems.

I see that the 91.31s are the latest and am considering updating the drivers. Will the coolbits mod still work? Is there a new one I should download? I know there is a new GUI in the latest drivers, so I want to be sure as the OC helps me tremendously by keeping my card willing and able to play the latest games with great eye-candy!

Just double-checking before I remove my old drivers via Driver Cleaner.

coolbits isn't a mod, its just a registry setting. You'll have to re edit the registry to enable it though.

I'm using coolbits with the 91.31 drivers with no problem. I did have toreinstall coolbits after the driver upgrade but it works just like it did with the older drivers. You have the option to use the old control panel instead of the new one.

Mod = short for modification. Coolbits modifies the registry, thus my choice of wording for the program. 🙂
