Not completely... stability is all but guaranteed if you let it detect and run at that speed. It errs on the side of caution, so most of the time, you can push it farther without reducing stability. It's an easy way to overclock for the inexperienced tweaker.

When I open the clock freq tab in the display properties it does not show a value. 0 in both clock and memory frequency.

my auto detect says i can run much higher then i actually can
