Pretty much, I work seven days a week and haven't gotten to do anything awesome in months.

I begged and got Sunday off, so Saturday when I get off work me and a friend are leaving (northeast Ohio) and driving, no real destination yet.

I want to go do something I've never done, sooooo anywhere I can be by Sunday is where I want to be.

Any suggestions on places to go or things to do? Literally have nothing right now

West Michigan, Grand Rapids, Holland, Traverse City, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes

Several people have been separately talking about Cedar Point at work like its the thing to do around this time. Though on the weekend, with one day off... wouldn't be my first choice. I'd find a nice place to go for a dayhike. Maybe there's some nice hill to climb that overlooks Erie.

We're going to chicago!

So far, millennium park and the aquarium (shedd?) are top on our list.

Anything else?

Museum of Science & Industry, just south of Hyde Park. If you go, be sure to go behind it as well and see the garden & lake designed by Olmsted (designer of Central Park in Manhattan) for the 1892 Columbian Exposition (World's Fair). I regret not going behind myself - I used to live a block north of the MSI and didn't learn about that garden until after I left and was reading the book, "Devil in the White City."
