So my entire house was more or less destroyed by water damage while I was away on vacation. Insurance adjuster says I will get money for what my destroyed items are worth and can spend that money any way I see fit. (So I could replace a sofa with a horse in theory)

My question to you is this. If you had extra money and could get one thing what would you get? I need ideas to replace lame things with cool things!

to be more specific and answer some questions:

- It's going to be a generous sum of money
- Kegerator is the coolest thing i've heard
- The 46' Sony LCD I have somehow survived untouched (good placement!)

$600!? Fuck no. Get a cheap refrigerator and make your own and save the extra money.

If I make something myself it's going to be a beer slip n' slide, I have lost many nights sleep thinking of how cool it would be to get a running start, open my mouth, and just be showered in golden beer. (not to be confused with dreaming about a golden shower... that's just gross)

Are you sure there's no mold damage? You better nuke your house from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
Use the money on a new place!

Well all the ceilings have fallen, the walls are being torn out, and the house is being treated for that, but damn you for bringing that up because I don't want to think about it forming somewhere and mutating into a killer mold colony!!!
