I don't think I've seen this in any other leagues, regardless, it's a neat idea.
Great way to advertise while keeping a dangerous area safe for players.

Edit: Another angle added so it's more clear what's happening.

I was debating about circling it or taking better shots. Still watching the game so i'll get a better shot if they come up.

That is pretty cool. At first, I thought the goalie disappeared, but then I noticed the signs.

Yes, it's designed to look like an upright sign-board from the specific angle of the central broadcast camera. Seen from any other angle/camera it'll be either not be visible at all or severely stretched and unreadable.

Err this kind of thing has been done for ages in "soccer", in every country really not just germany
