Cool n Quite not working

When I first got my AMD 3500+, cool and quiet didn't work but after in update the BIOS and installed some AMD driver it worked. Now a few months later I notice that CnQ is not working again. I haven't change the BIOS or any BIOs setting that i'm aware of that would cause this. I don't know how long ago it stopped working. Window did a bunch of automatic update recently, do you guys think it might be the cause? Any help diagnosing the problem would be greatly appreciate.

did u check in bios if it went off? maybe ur mobo got reset

Check the BIOS setting just in case

Check that in control panel --> power options, its set to "minimal power management"

Also if none of that works, re-install the cpu driver and cnq driver. Unless they come as one. Not sure.

Hmm.

I know that for me, if I want CnQ on I have to set my desktop to Portable/Laptop power settings. That might help. If not, yeah, reinstall the CNQ/CPU driver bundle thing and maybe install Dashboard to get a clue of if it's even working halfway.

hehe, I reseted my comupter and checked every BIOS setting but forgot to check the power option.

thanks for the help guys. I checked the control panel /power option. I think the Window update did something to it. I had it on "minimal power managent", but I just checked and it has switched to "Always On". I put it back to "minimal power management" and everything is working again.
