is it safe to run on a non overclocked system?
i think the drivers work for only win xp SP2 where u have to edit the boot file for the timer fix, so i can't run it on SP1?

cool. SP2 screws some of my programs up. are u sure it works on SP1? "This driver supports AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processors on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1." i'd like to use this feature cuz my PC is on 24/7

I have a WILD AND CRAZY IDEA! Why don't you try it for yourself and report back here. This will do two things.
1. Make you think independantly and try things for yourself
2. Make the others here smarter because if anyone wants to know the same thing they will be able to find your post

Seriously, you have the information from AMD the people that make the software and they say XP SP2, you have me someone who was simply guessing that there is not much really difference between SP1 and SP2 and no software I know of will work on SP2, but NOT SP1. So there is a 50-50 chance of it working, if you had already tried you would be done and know the answer, but you chose to wait for someone else to tell you if it will work...
