Cool N' Quiet question...

In the bios I can change the cpu voltage to anything between .8 and 1.7, only it will stay at this voltage regardless of cpu load, but if I set voltage to auto it will do the normal 1.1v at idle and 1.5 at full load, but its the athlon64 2800 and it really doesn't need 1.5v, i've run hours of benchmarks at 1.35v... my goal is to lower the full throttle votage from 1.5 to 1.35 and still let cool n' quiet lower the voltage to 1.1v. Can it be done? Thanks

next post: wrong forum!

Wadded Beef: i know and am terribly sorry but need an answer tonight, my friend is picking up the pc I built him in a couple hours... 🙂

i just said that i could, (cpu voltage = vcore) but it won't change along with cool n' quiet it'll stay at whatever i set it to, instead of going to 1.1v and 1ghz at idle

sorry, didn't read your entire post 😛

not sure how to have it adjusted in Cool'n Quiet itself, sorry...

perhaps try calling the board manufacturer and find out from them?
