Didn't even know she tried out but she's into the top 10 I think. This is the Canadian version of POPSTARs btw.

Doh I don't think she made it into the last group in the end of the show. Her name is Genevieve (she was from Vancouver)...there were two Asians there and she was one of them. Oh well, she's got a lot of courage for trying and a lot of talent for going so far. I'll have to talk to her about this when I see her in June.

One thing I don't get about Popstars is... why are they creating
three girlie groups at the exact same time? There's the one in
the U.S., one in Canada, and the original in either New Zealand
or Australia. It would make sense if they were planning to merge
the best from the 3 countries, but they're not. The way they're
running things will likely have the 3 groups competing amongst
themselves for limited publicity.

Not that I care :p

the aussie popstars group were in the charts for a while (maybe even reached no.1..i cant remember), but everyones already forgotten about them anyway.

here in aus they are now running one to get a group of guys and girls. not suprisingly all the guys on the show are your more 'girly' type of guy :p

btw, i hate pop music (hardcore punk fan :)), so no one should take any offence from what i say. :)

There is one POPSTARS group in Britain named Hear'Say and they got ripped critically when they released their first single because the chorus in the song copied Oasis (of all bands :) ).
